The Growth Guarantee Scheme aims to enable companies that may struggle to access traditional loans to get funded.
Under the scheme, the UK government is incentivising lenders to finance SMEs by providing a 70% guarantee on the funding.
This guarantee reduces the risk for lenders, making them more likely to approve loans for businesses they wouldn’t ordinarily have funded.
